Talgo offers vacation time and holiday schedule to meet your ‘away from the office’ needs.
Talgo recognizes that employees need scheduled time away from normal work duties for their personal well being, and for the benefit of their families.
All regular, full-time employees of Talgo that have been employed for a complete calendar month are eligible for the following paid holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve (1/2 day)
- Christmas Day
Floating Personal Days
All regular, full-time employees of Talgo that have been employed for a complete calendar month are eligible for up to two (2) paid personal days per year to be used. Personal floating holidays are granted on a calendar year basis and must be used by December 31st of the year they are granted.
In the event of a death in the employee’s immediate family, the employee will be allowed three (3) paid days of leave.
The Company provides jury duty and witness duty time off with no loss of earnings for the eligible employees for up to a maximum of ten (10) days per calendar year. Full and part time employees will be compensated by payment of an amount equal to the difference between their jury duty pay and their regular salary.
Talgo is proud of our Armed Forces! An employee who is a member of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, Reserves or Public Health Service will be granted a leave of absence for military service, training or related obligations in accordance with applicable law.
This benefits overview provides a Summary of Talgo’s Benefits Programs. The governing provisions of the Employee Benefits are set forth in the Employee Handbook. If there is a conflict between this statement and the Employee Handbook or Plan Document, the Employee Handbook or Plan Document will prevail.
