Talgo, Inc. seeks DBE & SBE Subcontractors for manufacture and overhaul of passenger railcars

Talgo, Inc., a Transit Vehicle Manufacturer with final assembly facilities in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking DBEs certified under 49 CFR Part 26 and Small Businesses to submit technical and commercial proposals to Talgo for materials and services we may require to manufacture intercity passenger trains. Potential supplier work scopes may include recruitment services, interior linings, air conditioning equipment, brake controls, foundation brake equipment, window  assemblies, communication equipment, lighting, seating, doors, door actuators and controls, wheelchair lifts and ramps, couplers and draft gear, trucks, journal bearings, axles, hardware, training manuals, transportation of passenger railcars and over-sized components, supplier- engineered and manufactured wire harnesses and metal fabrications, hardware, and other stipulated deliverables for installation on passenger rail cars. Potential suppliers of major railcar systems and components must have proven passenger railcar transit service experience. All suppliers’ manufacturing facilities shall be certified or compliant with the Quality Programrequirements as directed by ANSI/AQS Q9001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or demonstrate compliance with an equivalent program. Certified DBEs and Small Businesses meeting these qualifications should contact Mr. Ferran Canals, DBE Liaison, Talgo, Inc., at (414) 308-4186 or        This email address is being protected from spambots.
